Eaton's IEC contactors, starters, overload relays, manual motor protectors and combination motor controllers are globally rated and define power control. The wide range of applications that the XT Series is suited for, called for a variety of operating voltages and ratings as well as reliable AC and DC control options. The spacesaving and easy-to-install XT line of IEC contactors and starters is the efficient and effective solution for customer applications from 7–2000A. Enclosed control options include metallic and non-metallic enclosures with circuit breakers or North American or European fuses.



Eaton's XT Series meet all IEC, UL, CSA, CCC and CE standards, making them the perfect product solution for applications all over the world. Including non-reversing and reversing contactors and starters as well as overload relays and accessories, XT brings IEC Power Control to a whole new level.

Eaton also offer an extensive line of Cutler Hammer NEMA Contactors and Starters designed to meet a wide array of applications and preferences. Eaton's Freedom Series contactors and starters are available from NEMA Size 00-8 and feature a compact space-saving design, state-of-the-art technology and the latest in high strength, impact and temperature resistant insulating materials.
All Freedom Series contactors and starters are available in a variety of control system voltages.

Overloads & Motor Protection
To compliment their IEC and NEMA contactors and starters, Eaton offers a full line of Cutler-Hammer IEC and NEMA rated overload relays to provide motor overcurrent protection. The overload relay types include fixed bimetallic, interchangeable heater bimetallic, and electronic. Flexible mounting ensures that they can be installed on a contactor, panel, or separate enclosure.

Definite Purpose Contactors
In addition to their IEC and Nema products, Eaton offers a wide range of Definite Purpose Contactors. Most commonly found in applications such as refrigeration, air conditioning and resistance heating (HVAC) Definite Purpose Contactors are suitable for a wide range of other low-cycle duty applications requiring low cost switching of single- and three-phase loads. The universal mounting plate eliminates changing hole patterns when replacing competitive devices.

Eaton's Manual Starters include the new XTPB series of MMPs that are rated up to 25A and are ideally suited for small machines and applications operated by push-button or palm switches. Special MMP enclosures with IP40, IP55 or IP65 degrees of protection are available surface mount or installed and feature protection against direct contact, solid foreign bodies and dust, as well as the ingress of water. Whether equipped with protective membranes, locking devices or an emergency stop button, the XTPB will meet your application requirements.

For larger loads, Eaton's XTPR series of MMPs offer a solution for applications up to 63A in two small frame sizes. The 63A XTPR has a width of just 55mm, the smallest MMP in the industry! Enclosures with black or red/yellow covers are available for North American and IEC applications in IP41, IP55 or IP65 degrees of protection. XTPR enclosures are available for MMPs with front mount auxiliary contact modules including those with the early-make contact. Padlock attachments and a rotary handle mechanism kit make it easy to mount the XTPR in any enclosure.

Soft Starters
Offering some of the most innovative soft starting solutions in the industry, whether it's a new installation or a retrofit, Eaton have the answer. The Intelligent Technologies IT. Line of Reduced Voltage Soft Starters is very compact, multi-functional, easy to install, and easy to program. Designed to control acceleration and deceleration of 3-phase motors, the line is available for current ranges from 12 amp all the way through 1000 amp applications and is suitable for mounting in motor control centers or in enclosed control (NEMA 1, 4, 4 X, and 12) applications.
